What we’re not open to:
Pieces with no relation to China by members of the community who reside outside China – we do welcome stories from members of the community in China about matters with no direct relation to China because we believe time in China can provide one with unique perspectives. However, we rarely will publish a piece unrelated to China by someone who is not in China.
Pieces written by non-Black people – Please don’t take this personally. There are a great number of platforms dedicated to voices from other communities and we frequent them ourselves! However here at Black Livity China, it is our intention to amplify and elevate voices within our little-heard community.
